CONNECT Summit County, a non-profit, grassroots, mental health advocacy organization seeks an EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING COORDINATOR to assist with the creation, coordination and implementation of mental health educational programming. This part-time (15 hrs/wk) position reports to the Educational Programming Director. Salary based on experience. No benefits. 


RESPONSIBILITIES include assisting with the coordination, execution, oversight and marketing of all aspects of educational programs offered by CONNECT Summit County, including May Mental Health Awareness Month. 

QUALIFICATIONS: College degree preferred with a passion for mental health issues. Experience in event creation, planning and execution, marketing, publicity and communications (traditional and online — website and social media); Demonstrated ability to work with and lead volunteers, multi-task, and a high degree of self-motivation and initiative, while also being able to take direction. Excellent written and verbal skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to use Word Press, Mail Chimp, Facebook and Instagram.
