Art Pianos For All Is Looking For Artists

Artist Kylie Millward painting the piano at the Kimball Junction Transit Center last summer.

Art Pianos For All (born on City Tour 2011 to Ft. Collins, Colorado), in cooperation with the Summit County Public Art Advisory Board, is actively looking for artists to hire and pianos to decorate. We’re going to be placing a piano at one of the new Summit County Fairgrounds buildings and at the new County Services Building in Kamas this summer. Looking for donations of full-size upright pianos in good working order (needing a tune is OK) and we’ll arrange to have it picked up. We also need talented artists to decorate the pianos. The artist gig pays $1000 and the applications are due in June.

Art Pianos For All is a local non-profit group seeking to bring back the piano as a centerpiece of music, community, art and fun in Park City and Summit County, Utah. Artist decorated pianos are placed in public areas to be played and enjoyed by all.
